The first of the year has been moderately slow for most crude and water hauling divisions. However a select few of these companies have been kept almost above their capacity (reason unknown)! We assume that a lot of the down time is due to a surplus of light & sweet oil coming in from foreign countries. There are only a few countries that produce the same oil (Basrah,Saudi Arabia’s-Ghawar) and when they produce this oil cheaper and transport it cheaper than we can here in The Williston Basin production slows down. We feel that this can be due to marketers and refineries purchasing more foreign oil during the winter and spring time due to the harsh weather conditions here that pose a threat of lower possible productions because of road conditions. As you  know the #1 means of oil transportation in this area is over road hauling. Which keeps us in business and makes Americans happy that they have gas to put in their cars.
